What is it?
qReg is more than just a Registry editor.  qReg adds a powerful search and compare features to make registry management easier than ever.  qReg even handles the extended registry key types (i.e. REG_QWORD, REG_MULTI_SZ, etc...). 

qReg has a modern interface that allows you to easily navigate the registry using the classic navigation tree as well as its' "Link Bar" and "Hot Links".  The Link Bar works similar to an HTML navigation bar.  Each registry key is displayed as a clickable link, so accessing any key in a registry path is just one click away.  qReg Hot Links allow you to define locations in the registry that you may access often and then access those locations using as few as 3 key strokes.  qReg also adds an enhanced registry editor dialog so you can easily view, edit and print registry key values regardless of their format. The edit dialog supports multiple display options for numeric values, including DWORD, QWORD, Hexadecimal and Integer.

The qReg search engine if extremely fast and flexible allowing you to limit your search to specific data types. You can perform fast searches of the windows registry and perform comparisons on registry trees between two machines.
