What is it?
Whamware.TextIo is a tool for extending the functionality of Microsoft SQL Server.  Whamware.TextIo allows you to perform FAST import and export of blob (image, ntext and text) data from within your SQL Server scripts and procedures.  We didn't stop there we have also added the ability to compress and decompress blob data using the UCL and ZLIB compression algorithms.  Compressing the data on the fly not only saves you considerable disk space for storing BLOB data it also makes import and export operations run very fast.
